Sun 13 July in H-alpha and CaK

What an unexpectedly glorious evening! Managed a session after work until the sun was setting too low that the atmosphere really sizzled!

A couple full disks with quite a variety of activity. The active regions are very distinct in CaK with reasonably sized sunspots. There wasn't enough time to get the white light view unfortunately. All being well, another set tomorrow night...

Thank you for looking.

Sheri

Great image Sheri. I've never looked through a double stacked set-up, looks fantastic.

What an odd feature AR 1252 is. I thought something had gone wrong in Registax when I saw it but I checked the BASS site and there it was.

Is it a decaying old AR or a new one just firing up?
