Prof. Brian Cox was the science advisor for this film.

Having heard him comment on it in ' the infinite monkey cage' on radio 4, he didn't try and defend the scientific quality of the film.

He said something like '...the film is about when the sun went wrong and a mission was sent to fix it, in some unspecified way' :-)

Did anyone notice the scary as hell 1 frame editing of random people from the first mission? It was whenever someone shone a torch into the camera.

Yep, I think there are three or four subliminal frames in the film. Just faces of the first crew it seems.

I enjoyed the film again, lovely visuals indeed and haunting music. As I said, one of Danny Boyle's good ones.
