Sun 29 June in H-alpha

Been quite a while since posting. The sun only seems to appear while I am at work! Drats!:(

Luckily on the 29th I was able to capture a couple of pics before the clouds rolled in once again. :) There is a lovely prominence at approximately 2 o'clock on the face of the sun which looks reminiscent of a double helix strand starting to split apart from the top. Fascinating!
