NLC Now...

A cloud-free night here in Lincolnshire, and I've just been watching a minor display of whispy NLC in the North, just below Capella. It's starting to fade now though. Anyone else seeing this?

Strange thing to say :-))

Well, I was describing Capella, as it was so low on the horizon it was showing a lot of sprinkles of colour due to me looking through more of the Earths atmosphere, similair to how many of the major stars appear at such low altitudes.

sorry for the confusion.
