Tantalus
A cloud-free night here in Lincolnshire, and I've just been watching a minor display of whispy NLC in the North, just below Capella. It's starting to fade now though. Anyone else seeing this?

Nexus 6
Hi Tantalus, I have just had a look, I can see Capella but its very low on the horizon and as you know, from here I'm looking straight at the lp from Hull. Its a brilliant sight mind.
Tantalus
Ah, sorry to hear that Alan. Just had another look and they're still showing. Not the best I've seen, but still a lovely sight.

Nexus 6
Strange thing to say :-))Well, I was describing Capella, as it was so low on the horizon it was showing a lot of sprinkles of colour due to me looking through more of the Earths atmosphere, similair to how many of the major stars appear at such low altitudes. sorry for the confusion.
