This is my setup. New mount not yet been out because of the weather. Running inside just to get the feel of it, seems to be just as good as I hoped.

this is now my main scope as you can see its the Evostar 120 ED pro on an EQ5 with dual axis motor drives sitting on the CG5 2" tripod

I wish I only had one set-up . 3 more in the garden shed 114/ 130/250pds not use, and 2 siting in the back room only the tak get out about 1 hour a week. take up to much room having them all set up.

there is nothing wrong with little scopes shane, we all have 1 on the dobs

I wish I had taken these pics outside, but hey ho...

TAL100RS with fetching dewcap from Screwfix, good for transportation and reduces scope length to around 900mm.

I've just come across a picture of my scopes which I took during the summer for a talk I was doing at the time, I don't think I've posted it before.

Left to right:

• Altair Astro 60mm finder/guider & Williams Optics Megrez 72 on a Mini Giro mount
• Tal 100RS & Celestron C8 on a Skytee 2
• Altair Astro RC6 and lodestar camera atop a Celestron Advanced GT (aka CG5) - used for EAA

I have since acquired a Heritage 130P and also have a Williams Optics Zenithstar 66 not shown. Too many scopes now, need to thin them out a bit!

Thank you, yes, it's a fan-less Minix mini-pc, then a power distributor with the SharpSky Pro focuser hub at the front. Now just got to get everything talking to each other.

I've just had a quick "window shop" through this thread, so apologies if this has been mentioned before and I have missed it.

I am surprised that there are sct scopes on here that appear to be guided by guidescopes. I thought scts had to be guided through an oag because of mirror-movement inherent in the design?

I use a guidescope with my C6 SCT with no problems.
