Welcome Suren, the 127 will give you good lunar and planetary detail images but fainter galaxies will be tougher, try M82 in Ursa Maj which is a bit low now but Andromeda galaxy in Autumn will be easy.

Hi, Suren, and welcome to the forum.

Galaxies, while always difficult, are very dependent upon your Light Pollution conditions. If you can get to a dark site, you will find them much easier than in an urban situation. You may well find a group of SGL-ers who would be interested in a meet, depending on where you are.
