Thank you also to all of the additional folk who have commented upon these images here.....as I've just said in the other thread, Saturn is becoming increasingly more difficult to image successfully as the days pass... and culmination is not long after sunset now.

Thanks once more to everyone who has made their generous comments.....to finally put this thread to bed I'll finish with a "forgotten" avi I have only just processed from that night: it was a 6 minute red channel done as the clouds began to roll in and close that porthole.....I hadn't bothered before as it wasn't showing the storm head, and also with 14000 odd frames it was a big'un that got left....!
