next lunar eclipse?

anyone know when the next luanr eclipse is around? cloudy last night so i missed it

was it a spceial one that we wont see again?

December 10, 2011 - visible from all of Asia and Australia, seen as rising over eastern Europe, and setting over northwest North America.

..afraid you won't see it in Reading or Hemel Hempstead

A bit off-topic - I've only just twigged through another post that we may get a chance at the transit of Venus next year - well the end of it anyway. The downside is I've just looked at the NOAA satellite imagery for early (early) morning on the 6th June and the only time the entire UK was cloud-free (ish) in the last 5 years was in 2006 - may have to dig a bit deeper to and find some earlier scenes to try and increase the probability of good weather:clouds2:

Yes we need clear skies in 2015. Total solar eclipse - 20th March 2015 (Faeroe Islands) and the Lunar eclipse from start to finish albeit from 1am to about 4.30am
