Scope for astronomy & spotting

Hi,

I'll be in the south of France next month and I'm looking for a scope to use for both spotting and astronomy. Not an expensive one, but one that's is as decent as possible for £100 or less.

Any recommendations? Does anyone use a spotting scope for astronomy?

I've just found this little Skywatcher scope: Sky Watcher Sky-Watcher Visiomar 60mm zoom hybrid spotting & astro scope starter kit

Doesn't look bad, the aperture is 60mm. Is that a bit small for astronomy..?

Lower magnification, but of course faster. Hmmzz...

I've not used one of those Celestron's myself but another SGL member has posted a short review of one:

With a 45 degree erecting prism it would make a decent terrestrial spotter as well I reckon.
