Lunar eclipses take ages...

This one is around 6 - 7 hours.

The fun didn't really start till 9:30, but from just before 11 it should ge blood red.

Thats tha eerie part.

I have been watching it since it started with a photo taken every five minutes, it is now red up to just below the north where it seems to be staying just slightly light, got some nice pics with a 4 second apeture of the red but I decided to have a 1250/sec apeture during the movement of the eclipse so as to show how it moves. A fine night indeed. Ill hopefully post my best red pic once they are downloaded.
