hi all,

well, i got a telescope from my g/f for my birthday (skywatcher 130/900 on an EQ2 mount). i had a chance to try it out this weekend, and even though it was cloudy, i managed to point it at saturn. and then spent almost two hours playing with the eyepieces and mount, just looking at saturn. :) i think i even managed to see one of saturn's moons. amazingly beautiful.

yup, i'm hooked. :(

regards from innsbruck,

simon.

Hi Simon,

Glad you enjoyed your first light with your new scope.

Saturn is a wonderful sight and great to see first time out.

Hope the skies improve for you and you can see more amazing sites.

Have fun.

i agree with BAZ

You will always remember the first veiw you have of Saturn

has to be one of the most amazing bodies in our system

i can spend hours looking at it

the moon you saw was probably Titan (its the biggest and easist to see)

enjoy your scope
