Hi from Preston

After reading all i could in these forums i decided to jump in feet first and went out and bought a skywatcher explorer 130p. I set it all up yesterday (quite easy) lol. After waiting an eternity for it to go dark i ventured outside !!! 45 minutes later and struggling to find anything i stumbled upon of all things saturn. Im now hooked!!!

If you haven't already downloaded Stellarium I can highly reccommend it. Stellarium is a free planatarium program that will greatly assist you in finding your way around.
