Has anyone tried Alignmaster for polar alignment, adjusts polar alignment from the error information obtained during alignment in combination with one of the alignment stars?

I bought the software last year and used it a couple of times. Seemed to work well but now that I'm guiding I just do a polar alignment using the polar scope.

With hindsight, for me it was money not very well spent but if I wasn't guiding I may have persevered for longer with it.

I use it, and found it to be excellent. I can't see the pole star from my obsy, and use Alignmaster to check alignment every now and then.

EDIT: whoops. I was referring to EQAlign, not Alignmaster. Sorry. Anyway, EQAlign is brilliant, and free!

In the setup do you leave it a UT time ie central time or do you change it to your local time?

Use local time I would have thought. If you are using EQAscom, it should be configured exactly the same way.

Sent from my mobile using Tapatalk, so please excuse the speeling and granma! :)
