heq5 vs eq5

Hey all,

I have recently taken delivery of a celestron c6s xlt, I would like to know whether a eq5 synscan would track as accurately as an heq5 syntrek, the weight of all the gear will be about 5kg. I plan to do planetary, lunar and dso's imaging.

Get the HEQ5 the motors are a lot better & you can upgrade to a full goto later, just by replacing the handset or you can buy a eqmod module for the mount to be connected to your pc to control it...
