Sirius from HST

Did anyone see this recently? There was a thread a while ago, (can't find it now), asking if they'd photographed Sirius A & B. Well, here it is from HST. I'll let you be the judge.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find much data for reference, such as Sirius' actual separation on the sky, or the image scale for this image, but the difference in brightness should be a good indicator of the separation possible from space.

Ha! It was me and I am guessing that I did not manage to split it with my TouCam

Uh, yeah. I'd say that's a good bet, Blinky. No harm in trying, though! 8)

TBH I was using Sirius to focus the webcam, it was only after that I saw the other 'blob' and wondered if it might be.
