I've been reading posts on here for some time and found them very useful, so thought I would sign up and say hi.

I have been interested in astronomy my whole life pretty much, but have only been regularly observing with a telescope for the last year or so. I don't own one myself, but have a very kind ex-teacher and have been running observing sessions for the University Astronomical Society for the past year. I've just finished my third year of a physics degree and so spend half my time in Durham and half back home in Derbyshire.

We have an observing group near Derby if you are interested - East Mids Stargazers. Click the link in my signature and feel free to leave an intro thread in the group. The guys will say hi and give you further info :)
