I have just purchased a TAL 2M of astro buy and sell I thought for £50 its got to be worth a punt. I managed to get it out side for a while last night and early indications show that it has the potential to suit my needs. The three thing I would like to change are 1. a better set off tube rings preferably with a carrying handle, 2, I would like to change the focuser ( bit of an odd design the one on there at the moment) 3, is there any where I can get some decent end caps from as the hard plastic ones that came with it are hard to fit the mirror end one keeps falling off.
