Canon 1000D - Can I mains power it?

Last night I was working in Ha, so was on 25min exposures. I got the setup all up and running and went to bed. The new battery on the 1000D managed just shy of 4 hours of imaging before it died, but I'd like to know whether there is some way to mains power it? Preferably without doing any modding or DIY!!!!

Agree with Kev... I'm using one of those for my 450d... APT reports only 80% charge, but it stays there and the camera will just keep going. The pro models have the gubbins in an external box, and the battery fitment itself is empty to help keep down the internal heat.
