Cygnus Region on a 24mm lens

Recommended Posts

Hi this is my first shot of Cygnus this year, I thought I'd start wide and work my way in. Just 7 frames of 3 minutes each shot on a Canon 600D with an old olympus 24mm Zuiko lens.

Taken from the Rollright Stones, I was there with a few other members of Chipping Norton Amateur Astronomy Group, we're very lucky to have an ancient monument as our regular

dark sky observing site.

It was a fantastic night starting with a -6 iridium flare right inside the sickle of Leo (which I totally failed to capture) and just got better and better.
