Hi,

I would like to hear some opinions from you regarding 2 eyepieces: Meade 5000 Series Super Plossl 20mm and TeleVue Plossl 20mm.

My scope is the NexStar 6SE. I already own the Meade and I'm happy with it. But I have this opportunity of buying the TV at a good price. Is it worth selling the Meade and going for the TV? Would it give better/sharper views and with more contrast than the Meade in my scope or should I stick with the Meade for the wider field of view?

Stay with the Meade - both are good eyepieces but the extra field of view of the Meade is worth having and the Tele Vue won't perform any better in your F/10 scope.

I concur. I would stay with the Meade too. Nice eyepiece.
