May 9 in H-alpha, CaK and white light

This was not a particularly good day for the seeing conditions despite being lovely and clear. With a particularly long period of cloud free skies, I was a able to take the usual h-alpha series then follow up with white light (Baader Herschel wedge) and two versions of CaK. This was first light on a PST CaK after having to perform open heart surgery to repair a primary prism which had slipped on the mounting glue and rotated out by 10s of degrees. Quite a daunting exercise to bring it back into line but it appears to have survived. The other set of CaK images are using a Baader CaK filter and Baader ND 5 mylar filter on a WO110. There should be a brighter image if I switch to ND3.8 mylar however the 5 version was already mounted for visual use.

Interesting to hear your comments on this set of images.

Thank you for looking.
