Veil Nebula - HA

Here is my first attempt at the Veil Nebula.

I only managed 5 subs of 10 minutes due to cloud but its a promising start.

Taken with William Optics 66 and Atik 314L with HA Filter. Guided.

Yes, lots of signal already. Are you using the reducer-flattener? I'm just thinking that maybe your focus could be tighter. The FWHM in Artemis Capture works well if you give it three second expoures or so, unbinned.

Yes, we all take our own kit and use it there, just back from a three day stay and have a few more images to process, veil nebula - pelican nebula - solar and a very small M27
