Hello, I just signed up today. I come from Romania and currently live in Essex very close to East London. I'm quite new to this hobby. Back home I own a Skywatcher 127 mak which is a great scope and I have taken it out under dark skies quite a few times but here in UK I bought myself a Celestron Nexstar 6SE which I only used once although under a light polluted sky right next to my house.

This is a great community and I'm sure I'll be learning a lot of interesting and useful things from many of you.

A warm welcome to the SGL, I probably live 5 minutes away from you in a car and understand the light polution it;s the glow of the M25 you can get filters that will help with this
