Eta Carina Nebula

Thanks for the comments. I shot it from my backyard here in Perth. Seeing was pretty decent last night. There is some light pollution here but Eta Carina is bright enough that I was able to get this with just 7 x 5 minute subs. The first time I processed it was much brighter but looked over cooked. I actually got out a few books to see how others handled the color and brightness. This shot has no color adjustment and just a bit of stretch to bring out the contrast.

It was with my Takahashi TOA-150B with the SBIG ST-4000XCM. I don't have the takahashi auto guider cable adapter yet so I just used my AO-8 to 'guide', but only can get about 45 minutes before to AO reaches its limit. My polar alignment is still a bit off. So this is seven 5 minute subs.
