In modest pride (surprise!) I've just successfully replaced the SCREEN and the power input socket on my Samsung NC10 & N130 Notebooks, respectively. I sense the Power Socket has a certain "built in obsolescence"! If you have some soldering skills, replacements are available at:

Don't ask re. the broken screen <sigh>. A casualty of my (infrequent!) "spring cleaning"? :D
