Coming back from a week away, I found two nice packages waiting for me at home. A 2nd-hand Canon 200mm EF II for those nice widefields (thanks rocketandroll for the tip-off), and a Astronomik CLS-CCD EOS-clip filter to try and tame skyglow.

There will therefore be no clear skies within a 250 mile radius of Chester until I leave on another business trip on Tuesday.
