hi matt i only started at xmas cant believe how much i have learnt this forum is great so friendly and advice is top dog mate so welcome to sgl and enjoy

thanks everyone for the help! I got great vibes from the site.... ill be here to stay... Binos it is first then...... I think my main interest first of would be observing the planets is this a good start? and what sort of scope would i be looking for ? thanks again !!

Hi Mattyg and welcome - bins are a good start - that's what Im using; have got a pair of 10x40's and 15x70's and find the 10x40s much better as they are easier to hold steady
