I stepped out in the back garden yesterday evening around 10pm and was greated with a very bright fireball heading from East to South-East at around 10-15 degrees above the horizon as seen from Letchworth, Hertfordshire, did anyone else see it?

From todays calender.

"The peak of the Eta Aquarid meteor shower (20/hour) occurs at 12:00 UT."

Could be linked to this, i saw a fireball a few weeks ago, burning bright orange as it split into 3 peices, beautiful! Bet that was awesome to see!.
