Interesting article by Chris Lynott in S@N mag re. Dark Matter/ Dark Energy

Pretty much saying he's not happy with either and that he wouldn't be surprised that if the 'problems' are down to our understanding of the laws of gravity. I don't think we hear this side of the argument enough, people seem to be quite happy to accept dark matter/ energy as theories just waiing to be proven.

Dark matter/ energy might well be correct but it also wouldn't surprise me if, 50 years from now, the entire notion was debunked and considered laughable.

Read that this morning. I liked his thoughts that we need the up and coming experiments to fail against Relativity so that theorists have new stuff to work on!

And where the heck does he get time to do his research if he's jetting off all over the shop for S@N?? :shock:
