Just bought one that has been mofified for astro work. It has a light on it though when i am using it in telescope. How do i turn the light out?

I believe the usual option is to cut the track for the led on the small circuit board, did that on mine and the camera still works OK.

Other than that mask it with black tape or paint it ( red nail varnish)perhaps?
