First eyepiece purchase!

Just got my first ever eyepiece (other that the OEM), Meade Series 5000 Plossl 20mm, gonna go cluster hunting tonight and see how different it is from my current 20mm, just looking at the hills in the distance i can see the difference in the aFOV increase from ~40-50deg with OEM to the 60deg with the Meade.

Try and catch the double cluster in Perseus - it would look great with that eyepiece

Those 5000 'super' plossls (not sure what the super bit means) are pretty good eyepieces that are virtually sharp to the edge and they have great build quality. Good luck with the observing!
