Started to look for a telescope and found this site.

I will have a good read up on here before I get one.

So far the the Sky-watcher SkyMax 127 with a Skyscan Goto mount looks good.

All I need to do then is talk her in doors to let me have one to go along with all my other hobbies like fishing, photography and metal detecting.

It could be a bit before I get one, wish me luck!!

My first scope was an ETX mak but with hindsight I would have been better off starting with a cheap refractor. The wider views make for a great introduction to our hobby. Have a look at the skywatcher STARTRAVEL-102 SynScan™ AZ GOTO.

All sorted but it did'nt come cheap.

I've got to take her to the Algarve for two weeks in September.

We were probably going anyway but said we would be going definitely if I could have a new scope.
