Better Saturn

Well I gave the lovely planet another go after the previous nights attempts and had another go with Registax v6.

Much happier and probably my best effort so far. 741 frames out of 900 with 15 align points.

As always comments/tips/critique always welcome

Thats a pretty good image.

You can get away with a lot less align points.

Doesn't look as though you used a barlow ? That would be worth using next time you have a go.

so when imaging with spc900 whats the lx mode for if you can clearly get good light on planetry with normal mode?

Yes it is good result and nice image but why you don't use any Barlow ?

Thanks for comments. I used a x2 Barlow the SW one that comes with scope. Still can never achieve much in the way of magnification. Any tips gladly received.

I use normal mode for planets but LX for DSO's. To be honest I generally use the DSLR. Not used LX for much.
