she has a 200pds (F5) skywatcher on HEQ5pro..25mm..20mm..10mm

it'll be 24 yrs...so thinking budget £24 just joking...

I'm thinking of getting her a 26mm or 32mm...but which make ????

What sort of budget are we talking about ?

At the budget end there is the Panaview 32mm:

Skywatcher - Skywatcher PanaView 2" eyepieces

The for a few more £'s there is the Aero 30mm which peforms a little better and then there are the Meade SWA's and UWA's and so on up into Tele Vue / Pentax terratory when your wife will need to be feeling extremely generous

Broadly speaking, you get what you pay for with the 2" widefields and each individual needs to decide whether the performance enhancements are worth the extra £'s, to them

up to around £150... unless it's something special for a 'little more'

There's also the William Optics Uwan and Skywatcher Nirvana 28mm UWA which seem to go for tween £150-£200 2nd hand. One went on flea bay recently for £169. Superb, but huge eyepieces.

With that budget I'd go for a 30mm Skywatcher Aero ED

Looks good.

I recently got a Panaview 32mm and I'm happy with it, I'd be even happier with the above.
