I have a question.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have got a question that needs answering however it is quite a stupid one :(.

(1. I haven't tried to polar align my 'scope yet but when I do it, it will need to be about 52 degrees up. However if I want to look at Saturn in the south do I just hold the 'scope and turn that instead of the mount. Also, because Saturn is lower in the sky than Polaris I will need to change the altitude knob but the scale moves when I do it :). Is the correct?

Thanks for the quick answers :( I have just got one more quick question. On stellarium, I want to use the ocular view but I don't know the information for the eyepieces and sensors. Do you know what the answers are?

EYEPIECES: Skywatcher 25mm & 10mm. I need aFOV, focal length and field stop.

SENSORS: Philips SPC900NC. Resolution x and y (pixels), Chip width and height (mm) and pixel width and height (micron).

Thanks for the help :)
