This looked pretty impressive visually through the PST although my limited imaging skills don't really do it justice.

I have only processed a few of the captures from today, It was taken with the aforementioned PST, Philips SP900NC webcam and 2 x Barlow.

Looking at the upcoming weather I should get a few more chances with Sol.

Nice detail Geoff. If the image is of AR11193 then the smaller prominence on the right of the photo was very active around mid-day today, changing shape almost as you watched. At one point a loop prominence gradually formed, this took about 15mins and at a rough estimate must have been around 5,000 miles in developed length, that would be a growth speed of around 20,000 mph! :).
