Mine arrived from eBay yesterday (thanks to the pointers here).

It's an impressive tool. Not tried it on lights yet as I'm not getting out due to fog.

Still...great for sky pointing and when the winter comes and sets of my neighbour's flood lights every 2 mins (steam from their heater is far denser and sets off their lights all the time *rolls eyes*), I'll just ping them off. Not for scientific reasons...for hobby reasons.

After all...I'm far scarier to a burglar than a light

Presumably the same action will trigger the lights back to schiztsy mode.

ive got a green one, it says 40mw on it,

but ive tried several street lights and it wont turn them off, any one know what the minimum power would need to be? just curious:evil6:

I bought it from astronomy ireland in dublin, it is a good lazer, im suprised it wouldnt work on the street lights
