  1. November 14, 2016, the closest moon approach since 1948! A scant 221,524 miles away, the moon won't be nearly this close again until November 25, 2034. Smoke from North Georgia wildfires casts a thin veil over the night sky, but not enough to blot out the SUPERMOON! Cheers and high tides! Reggie
  2. I hope you all enjoyed the Supermoon, here's a hi-res image I took of the Supermoon in Cathedral City! This is a 25 panel mosaic stitched together to create the final image. I will say that I didn't notice much of a difference in the overall apparent size of the full Moon, but it was a heck of a lot brighter than normal.   6. My best from last night's eclipse, though with minimum editing yet. Some of them are pretty dark but I was trying to make them match the tones of what I was actually seeing.

  11. We had a controlled burn going on here up in the mountains but I was still able to snap this one of the amazing event last night.
  12. Did anyone in the UK actually see that Super Moon recently. I'm sure you've all heard about it, we couldn't see anything in the South-East
