  1. Saturn is jumping from house roof to house roof these day in the UK latitudes. I managed to capture 5000 frames last night using the CPC800 w/wedge, QHY5L-II C; and processed these with PIPP (kept 25%), Autostakkert2! with Drizzle 30 and a little PS. Can I make it better? I think the C8 is delivering good here but could argue that better collimation would make it better. However, my star tests are 'good' at 200x. For the general UK conditions yesterday I think this is good? Tomorrow we have thunderstorms...so, everything will go back inside.
  2. Its a little depressing that Saturn is sooooo low in the sky but managed to get a few pics on the 25th when the seeing wasn't actually to bad. Not to sure what the blue frames all about! All done with 250p QHY5L-IIc, processed with pipp, As2, PS The First 2 with 2.5x barlow the last with an extra extension to make 3.5x mag
  3. Really frustrated with AS2. Ive taken a 2000 frame vid of jupiter using Sharpcap with QHY5L-IIc. The image has Jupiter & two of its moons. I normally run it through PIPP to centre it & Take out low quality frames & then run it through AS2 but when I do that it centres the planet & I lose the two moons, so I thought just run it through AS2 to stack it but I get "access vialation at address 00501DAA in module "Autostakket" write of address 00000000" I then click ok & get "failed to open file framecount: 0" Anybody got any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
