  1. Need a bit of help to narrow down what I see, I've wanted to buy a telescope a year ago but a couple of things stopped that decision. Saw a strong bright glowing star in the cloudless sky so I picked up my old binoculars laying around. I appended three images, one what my phone saw, secondly the raw image, thirdly a star map pointing towards the object (center-ish). I know it feels pretty laughable for s.o with an 8" GOTO + 5 yrs of experience, but maybe we can attempt to locate the object anyway ;) IMG_20200312_191702.dng
  2. This is in no shape or form good enough for a competition but im putting it here anyway :P.This was taken march11 with my Xiaomi Redmi6 and shaky hands held over the eyepiece.
  3. Managed to get a few pics of the moon holding my phone up to the eyepiece and then *attempted* to edit them. I done the editing with a free app I found, Jus not sure if I've over done it. There didnt seem to be much detail at first. I'm quite happy with the outcome considering my kit is very basic. Hoping to try some other eyepieces next time Anyway heres what I think was the best one...
  4. From the album: Recent pictures taken with my phone

I own a galaxy SIII smart phone and enjoy taking pictures with it since I do not have a sophisticated camera. I enjoy the flat surface and have been able to take simple pictures to show my friends who have never looked through a telescope. I am hoping to steer them to this direction. Isabelle
