  1. From the album: Kevin Hurleys Deep Space Objects

M45 Pleiades. Captured using Nikon D3200 at prime focus of Skywatcher 150P on EQ3-2 with RA motor tracking (no guiding). Total of 79 x 10s subs at ISO 800 aligned and stacked in DeepSkyStacker to give 7min 20s. Processed in StarTools. Thin and high cloud for some of the subs. Taken at 3:30am on Sunday morning Aug 30, 2020.
  2. From the album: Kevin Hurleys Deep Space Objects

Wide angle shot of Milky Way in Cygnus. 10 min total (4 subs of 2.5 min each) at ISO 100. Nikon D3200 with kit lens at 18mm (f/5.6). Tracking on a skywatcher 150p EQ3-2 mount - no guiding.
  3. From the album: Kevin Hurleys Deep Space Objects

M65, M66 and NGC 3628 - The Leo Triplet. Photographed on May 14. Skywatcher 150P with a Nikon D3200 at prime focus. EQ3-2 mount with RA motor drive (no guiding). 19 subs at ISO 800 - 30s each. Aligned and stacked in Deep Sky Stacker to give resulting 4min 30s exposure. Processed in Startools to crop, bin, stretch and colour balance. This was my second time around to process this image - starting to get the hang of Startools now.
  4. From the album: Kevin Hurleys Deep Space Objects

M13 taken with Nikon D3200 at prime focus of my Skywatcher 150p mounted on EQ3-2 with RA motor drive (no guiding). 12 subs (30s each) aligned and stacked in DSS for total of 180s. Processed in startools - binned, cropped and stretched.
  5. From the album: Kevin Hurleys Deep Space Objects

M51. Skywatcher 150P with Nikon D3200 at prime focus. EQ3-2 mount with RA motor. Unguided. 10 x 30s subs - aligned and stacked with DSS into a 2min 30s exposure at ISO 800. Post-processed with Startools - binned, cropped, stretched and colour balanced. This is an updated processing of previous image posted here.
  6. From the album: Kevin Hurleys Deep Space Objects

M57 Ring Nebula. Nikon D3200 at prime focus of a skywatcher 150p. Mount is EQ3-2 unmodified with RA motor drive and no guiding. 3min30s exposure at ISO100 after aligning and stacking in DSS. Post-processed in Startools to stretch, crop, bin and colour-balance. Quite a moonlit night and sky not fully dark. Will go back and try again another time.
  7. Hello all This is my first attempt at the horse head nebula with no guiding and only a Canon 550d taken last night! http://www.astrobin.com/full/274255/B/ I have only done a little processing on it but I'm pleased! Any thoughts or questions welcome. Kind Regards Gerry
