  2. Hello, Am very new to this so apologies right from the start. I have recently just bought a skywatcher akyliner dobsonian 200p and i set it up. However the image is very blurry even when i remove all magnification and just look into the primary mirror eveything looks very blurry including the moon or nearby trees etc. I am unsure what the issue could be as i am eager to get started on my stargazing! Could someone please assist me or at the very least point me in the right direction. Kind regards

  4. I need a a really accurate, easy to use collimating tool. I have a used laser collimator but it does not fit snugly in the focuser so I feel it’s not very accurate. The idea of collimating causes me some anxiety anyway, so accurate and easy is the key! Can any of you offer any suggestions to help me out?

  6. Hello everyone. I've recently taken my skywatcher 1200mm dobsonian out from under cover in the spare room, where it's been for the last 2 years, being knocked about by chairs, ladders and cats. It clearly needed collimating. I bought a Seber laser collimator from Amazon for £28 but the darn thing is out of whack and my appetite to collimate a collimator is pretty low so I'm sending it back. Seber have a few bad reviews for this item. Can anyone recommend a decent, around £30 collimator, or does anyone in the Haywards Heath/Burgess Hill area have one that I could borrow? Thanks all, looking forward to getting back out there again
