  1. Hi All I'm looking out for Skywatcher AZ4 (Steel legs) if anyone has one for sale or know of one for sale, willing to travel up to two hours from Warrington, Cheshire to collect. Many Thanks Rob
  2. Can anyone advise me if it's possible to remove the AZ4 mount from the steel legged tripod and replace it with an EQ5 mount that I could later add motors to or is it simpler and easier just to buy the EQ5 straight away. I am trying to get a tracking mount for my Mak 150 but may want to upgrade again in the future for a11 inch SCT. Thanks for reading
  3. Hi, Has anyone tried any of the skywatcher skymax telescopes on the Az4 mount? I guess the finder will be off at 8 o'clock somewhere but is the lack of slow motion control a real stumbling block? Cheers, Dave
  4. Looking to sell my Skywatcher AZ4 Alt-AZ mount with steel tripod. I bought this off Nightfisher in early January this year, but have since also now acquired a Porta mount, so the AZ4 is now looking for a new home. Very little use off me on the mount. Looking for £100 but via collection only as I don't have a box for it, although I am willing to meet up within a reasonable distance from Hull, or am also quite frequently down in the Romford area for work, so could meet up when traveling down off either the A1 or M1 route. The altitude motion has been regreased with new grease by Jules, so it is nice and smooth too. Picture below shows my ST120 refractor on the mount for illustration purposes only.
