    M13, also designated NGC 6205 and sometimes called the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules or the Hercules Globular Cluster, is a globular cluster of about 300,000 stars in the constellation of Hercules. Imaged using Atik 16IC-S monochrome CCD and William Optics FLT-110 mounted on NEQ6 Pro. 30 light frames ranging from 60 seconds to 600 seconds, no darks. Stacked in DeepSkyStacker, using the best 80% of frames and processed in Photoshop CS2

    NGC891(C23) 28.11.2016 Using Atik 16IC-S monochrome CCD camera on Skywatcher Equinox 80 ED on HEQ5 Pro SynScan mount A total of 5 x 5 minute and 9 x 10 minute light frames - no filters Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Photoshop Elements 11 NGC891 (C23) is an edge-on unbarred spiral galaxy in the constellation of Andromeda, and is estimated to be at a distance of 31 million light years. it is a massive galaxy measuring about 110,000 light years in diameter and has a mass of about 150 billion suns. This beautiful galaxy is seen almost perfectly from it's side from our perspective.

  4. ***SOLD - thank you Andy*** Due to a recent upgrade to an Atik 314L, I am reluctantly selling my Atik 16IC-S monochrome CCD This little camera has served me well over the past year as I have began my journey into deep space Astrophotography. However, I cannot see that it will get the use it deserves now I have upgraded to a slightly larger sensor. Although I bought this camera second hand in 2015 it was still in its cellophane wrapper as the gentleman I bought it from was selling due to ill health. He had bought the camera a couple of years previously and hadn't ever got round to using it, which was a real shame. Since that time the camera has been used around a dozen times, and I had no real intention of upgrading until an Atik 314L came up on SGL at a good price just before Christmas. Details and specification can be found here: https://www.optcorp.com/pdf/Atik/ManualAtik16IC.pdf SONY ICX415AL sensor - 782 x 582 pixels - pixel size 8.3 uM x 8.3 uM Comes with original box, software disc and cables as shown in photograph below. I can send images from this camera on request, however the quality of the imager is not as good as the quality of the camera Looking for £180 although I'm open to reasonable offers.     Galaxies M65 & M66 which are two of the Leo triplets, the third being NGC3628 which is not in this image M65 (bottom left) and M66 (top right) lie approximately 35 million light years away in the constellation of Leo A total of 11 x 300 second subs stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in PS Elements 11
