  3. In basically as new condition, with one slight mark on the barrel which was there from new. This is a Revelation fully multi-coated three element x2.5 Barlow. It has a non marring compression ring fitting and is 1.25" format. Has both caps but I don't think I have the box still. Looking for £20 plus £2.50 P&P via PayPal fees paid or bank transfer. Offering here first, then will put on ABS at the weekend. Thanks, Stu
  4. Great little Barlow, but as I have an ES FE, I don't really need it. Excellent condition and it will be posted in a bolt box. £22 posted to mainland UK. PayPal preferred.
  5. I have a revelation (GSO) coma corrector that I use on my 130 pds with a Canon 1000d. I have noticed that I am still getting some coma. My question is, do I need a spacer between the corrector and the T ring. I can't find any definite information on this but I read somewhere you need 75mm between the rear element and the camera sensor
  6. Revelation binoviewer for sale, complete with two pairs of eyepieces. In very good condition, complete with original aluminium box, a pair of FMC 12mm wide angle eyepieces and a pair of FMC 20mm wide angle eyepieces. New from Telescope House the binoviewer alone is £125. For both sets of eyepieces plus the viewer the price is a mere £120, plus postage. Postage will be £8. Can also be collected from Victoria area of London.
  7. Anyone have a used BA1-type 15x70 binocular that is surplus to requirement? No problem if it's out of collimation.
  8. Part 2 of my spring clean. All in perfect condition with very little sign of use. Grab a bargain and if you see something you fancy drop me a line and we can sort it out. Payment by Paypal please or save yourself the p&p and pick it up in person - I'm in Edinburgh. Thanks for looking - 2” Revelation Superview 26mm/70 degree afov £25 + p&p - 1.25” Skywatcher Super Plossl 25mm/ 52 degree afov £8 + p&p - 1.25” Skywatcher Super Plossl 10mm/52 degree afov £8 + p&p
  9. After a bit of advice on Barlows please. Thinking of getting one to replace the Skywatcher 2x I have which is "okay" but I wonder if I can get better? I have got a fairly decent image of Saturn and Jupiter with it, using an Xbox cam. Was lucky enough to receive an ASI120MM for Christmas (am over the moon) which I will be using for guiding with my ED80/ST80 but want to try a bit of planetary with it with my 200P (as I did the Xbox cam). Looking at 2nd hand barlows I wonder which one to get to assist at all with this set up. Lots of different ones out there. Any advice please for use with 200P? Thanks, Bob
  10. I'm using a Revelation 2.5x Barlow with 12, 25 and 32mm eyepieces in my Omni xlt 120 refractor. The 2.5 Barlow with the 12mm gives about 200x magnification which is as much as would be practical most nights. However, if I put the Barlow before the diagonal I get quite a lot more magnification and can still achieve focus. Can anyone tell me what the likely magnification is and is this a viable solution for nights of excellent seeing when I might want more magnification? Or just a daft idea?
