I am totally new to the hobby. I was give a cheap telescope, Carson RP-300. I was interested in getting a smart telescope, my wife is disabled so she has hard time looking through telescope. Thought it would be cool to get smart telescope so we can see images right on computer. Anyone have any advice on smart telescopes? I know very little about telescopes. I was really interested in this telescope Vaonis Stellina ST 80, but the price is high for me. Is it worth the $4000 price tag? It looks really cool, and can get very good images. Any input would be appreciated. Also here is a shot of Jupiter with my cheap telescope and cell phone. You can see why I want a better one.
