  1. Hi, wondering if someone could let me know how my first astrophotography image turned out? The image is of Vega. This was taken on a tripod using a Canon 600d, Super Takumer 135mm f3.5. I took 200 images at ISO1600 Shutter Speed 1". I also took 50 each of Flats, Dark, and Bias. This was taken In my garden, near the city centre. I'm new to photography and has this vintage lens, so watched a few videos and thought I would give it a try, I wasn't expecting much. But I'm pleased with it. When it came to processing the image I had no idea what to do, the world of photography is very new to me. I Used Deep Sky Stacker, followed by Siril and used the Photometric Colour Calibration and Remove Green Noise. I then used Darktable to make some simple adjustments that I was used to making in normal photography. After that, I used Gimp to remove something that was just under Vega that looked like it shouldn't have been in the image. I probably went about the editing in the wrong way but I just wanted to do something simple where I could be happy with the image and see if this is something I would like to try more of. If someone could recommend some tips where I could improve in taking the images and editing that would be greatly appreciated. If I get into this I would purchase a star tracker at some point. Thanks Callum
