^lol, on the Clear Outside web page there is a How To Use menu, within this there is an lightly animated tour of the Forecast page explaining what the various displayed information means.
hth,
Rich
ahhhhh i see now haha i actually skipped the howto and went straight into it haha. thought i was missing out on summet then
-
just a curious question.... but what is the start tour?

Hi Gareth,
I've removed the email headers from your post to protect your privacy - the issue is your end, one of your aliases is blocked - I'm fairly sure all @mac.com email addresses no longer exist it's now @me.com or @icloud.com.
With regards to the forecast, I've not seen the issue you mention myself so I don't think it's a bug, just the information we get from the weather models. It may be easier when I switch the views over to Midnight-Midnight to see this and I will keep my eyes open for a pattern.
Cheers,
Grant
Hello Grant
the origional @mac which i use (you know the one haha) is the actual email. then with the @me, i gained the @me alias of the same name, and the @icloud as the same as they liked changing them. i was wondering when they would eventually stop the @mac account from working 8 years on. i remember the days i paid £99 for it a year for a measly 1gig of space haha. i know i have issues on my macbook pro where certain fetures dont work cos i havent switched properly to an @me (or icloud) (back to my mac for instance) but well perhaps nows the time i need to really think bout putting it to sleep.
i'll give the mid day to mid day a go see if it fixs my issue
many thanks again guys for such a fantastic product

Hello guys
i tried to send you an email as i seem to get a bug that i dont know if its a bug or not and i had this bounce back :
now i had this same error in dec 2013 when i sent an email to the questions@firstlightoptics email, eventually got around it by using the @macs alias @me account.
basacally i sent this message :
Hello guys!
fantastic page as to the usual FLO fantastic quaility
just a random query, iv noticed on quite a few days that the forcast at the end of the day has been : (i added a photo here but its gone now. it showed 9-midnight with very heavy 98% low cloud)
but on sunday in the early hours of the morning its showing : midnight - 6am showing 0-1% low cloud.
im just using this as an example for today. i know its not perfect but its shown on my location (maesycwmmer) quite a few times with theres been perfect skys with the skys being the same as the early hours not the late ones and showing identical clouds each day thats live. im probally missing somthing and i know predicting the weather is difficult (for instance my weather station that i have outside has been adamant its going to rain today! when we have had 25ish temps) but i just wondered if it was an issue or sumthing that was just happening.
many thanks as always and thank you for providing the service
Gareth

Basacally admins a while ago had a part of the forum on that automatically shrunk any urls into smaller ones. Grant tuned this off last week so any pics or bookmarks of these links stopped working.

Welcome to the South Wales Group
We are mainly based in the South Wales area and hold various observing meets at sites from south (Cwmcarn, Blaenavon) all the way as far as mid Wales.
We are a very friendly bunch and welcome all people regardless of experience, age from all parts of Wales (not just the south and even across the border ), to any of our meets which are held every 2 - 4 weeks (weather permitting).
We also encourage "unofficial" meets between members at any time the sky is clear .
A map showing the rough positions of our members is
http://stargazerslounge.com/south-wales-group/154967-areas-every-one-lives.html
If you would like to be included post the first 4 letters/numbers of your post code into the thread (EG np12) or the area and the map will be updated.
The main observing site currently used is just outside Blaenavon.
The google coordinates are
+51° 47' 25.57", -3° 4' 10.74"
(on the map it is the blue pin, not the green one by the road). The site is next to a large tv/radio mast on a flat carpark like area. There is also another site 2 a few hundred yards down the road which we use if winds are high as it is more sheltered.
If you are unsure how to get to the site we usually are able to meet members in ASDA Brynmarw carpark.
We welcome any suggestions to other sites as well, don't be afraid to post about them .

it actually saved the forcast as well. same on the macbook running a lot older versions. do you have safari on so it saves cookies? you havent got it in private browsing mode?
