Sorry for late reply, yes taken on a EQ5 Mount, but now i've upgraded to a HEQ pro and started guiding

Latest attempt on the M33

its a combination of several nights= 4 batches. The three first batches was unguided, 1 min exposure.

Last night i got som 1h, 40 min guded: 4 min subs and stacked all together giving 3h 50 min in total.

At last a Clear crisp night, 8 hours of my life well spent under the night sky at my cabin. Haven't seen a single star since last time i visited this section:

Now completing my 1 year cyclus with AP in November. The most important i've learned is what not to do and what i need to make better astrophotos.

I haven't yet completed my 1 years cyclus as a beginner, but i think im into something. Soon they will be improved. I know what to do but haven't yet the means to acchieve better results .

Can't edit my previous post but here is the equipment used. All pics taken with a Canon EOS 550D, SW 130PDS an an EQ 5 with synscan. PA alignment trough "feeling" as the polarscopes i ordered dont fit in the EQ5. No guiding yet but very soon as i have the equipment (except a proper polarscope)

Not great pics from me, but this is what i got so far since beginning with AP in august this year. No guiding and maximum time of expousures 30 sek.

My first attempt few weeks ago (21.11.13)

Canon EOS 550D and a sigma-> 200 mm

25 lights Exposure time=1,6 sek

15 darks and 15 bias

Stacked in DSS and prosessed in PS With Levels and curves

Not much, but it was a wow moment for my first attempt
