Yes, same question here. I assumed the updated catalogue with Messier, etc. would permit a search and then goto from a now expanded list of objects. Yet, it appears I can only search for objects in what appears to be the limited list of objects in the initial firmware. Did I misunderstand the nature of the search box, or is there some hardware defective on my end, or is a firmware fix needed? Please advise.

I assume the pricing on the website includes the UK VAT? So, presumably the VAT is subtracted from the price for purchasers ordering from the US, etc. ? That would certainly help with the cost, though shipping adds to the expense . . .

Regarding the ETA of the AZ100 with motor drive/tracking, on August 15 in response to several questions about the mount, I got this comment from FLO: “should be available in around 6 to 8 weeks time.” That doesn’t narrow it down too much, but it’s imminent. . . .

I see that a number of people using Berlbach tripods. However, I’m wonder if anyone is using Oberwerk tripods? They are sturdy wooden tripods, attractive and a very good value - but perhaps a bit less substantial than some of the Berlbach models. I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who’s used an Oberwerk with an AZ100. — Russ
